Referral Program Terms
Last Modified: Jul 21, 2024
These Referral Program Terms (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Clav Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Givefront,” “Clav,” “we,” or “us”), and they govern your participation in the Givefront Referral Program (the “Program”). Through this Program, participants can share unique referral links (“Referral Links”) with potential customers and receive rewards (“Referral Rewards”) if those referrals meet the eligibility criteria and become Givefront users.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting. Continued participation in the Program following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Eligibility to Participate
To take part in the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Have an active Givefront account in good standing;
- Be legally permitted to receive Referral Rewards in your jurisdiction.
You may not participate if:
- Your Givefront account has been suspended or terminated;
- You are prohibited by law or contract from receiving Referral Rewards;
- You engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive conduct related to the Program.
Who Counts as a Referral
A nonprofit organization will be considered a Qualified Referral if:
- They have not previously signed up for or applied for a Givefront account;
- They sign up using your unique Referral Link;
- Their application is approved and their account is activated;
- They spend at least $1,000 on their Givefront account.
Self-referrals are not eligible.
Only one reward will be issued per Qualified Referral. If multiple referrers share the same Referral Link, only the link used during signup will qualify.
Referral Rewards
- The reward for a Qualified Referral is $100, delivered via gift card.
- Rewards will be issued within 30 days after the referred organization meets the $1,000 spend requirement.
- Givefront may limit, delay, or deny rewards if fraud, misuse, or violations of these Terms are suspected.
- Referral Rewards may constitute taxable income. You are solely responsible for any applicable taxes.
Referral Link Usage Guidelines
By participating in the Program, you agree not to:
- Present yourself as an employee, agent, or official representative of Givefront;
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content via email, SMS, or social media to promote your Referral Link;
- Use bots, scripts, or misleading tactics to generate referrals;
- Promote your Referral Link through paid advertisements, affiliate networks, or commercial marketing channels without written permission from Givefront;
- Use Givefront's name, brand, or logo in public content or advertising without explicit written consent.
Violations of these guidelines may result in disqualification from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid rewards.
Program Changes and Termination
You may stop participating at any time by ceasing to share your Referral Link. Givefront may modify, pause, or terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, without notice. Givefront may also remove you from the Program if you violate these Terms or any other agreement with us.
Limitation of Liability
Givefront’s total liability to you in connection with the Program is limited to the total Referral Rewards you earned in the past three months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.
Privacy
Information collected through the Referral Program will be handled in accordance with the Givefront Privacy Policy.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Givefront regarding the Referral Program. Any waiver or amendment must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
